Overige informatie

Sundaymorning@ekwc aims to encourage the development of ceramics in art and design.

The Sundaymorning@ekwc is an international workshop where participants and staff members explore the artistic and technical possibilities of ceramics as a medium. Experiments are being conducted to find new ways of presenting ceramics. The acquired knowledge and experience is being spread nationally as well as internationally. The goal is to encourage the development of ceramic art and design.

To reach this goal Sundaymorning@ekwc offers working and living space, as well as a team of specialised professionals. About 48 participants a year, artists, ceramists and designers, get the opportunity to work for a continuous or phased period of three months. Participants enter through worldwide public application.

Sundaymorning@ekwc works together with art academies, the ceramic industry, several scientific research centres, museums and galleries in the form of special projects.
