Overige informatie

The Kunsthaus Bühler, estabished in Stuttgart in 1905, is one of the few German galleries specialized in both German and French painting of the 19th and early 20th century.

Among the German holdings are examples from the Munich and Düsseldorf Schools and important German Impressionist pieces by artists such as Lovis Corinth, Max Liebermann and Heinrich von Zügel.

The emphasis in the French collection lies on the Barbizon School and Post-Impressionism including the Fauves.

The gallery also offers works by a select number of contemporary realist painters and sculptors.
