Over de kunstenaar
Born in Antwerp, Serge Strosberg spent his childhood in Belgium and the United States. He received his art education in Paris at Academie Julian. Striving to enhance his knowledge, he further studied privately with a German Expressionist Artist, Joerg Hermle who teaches ancient painting techniques at the Sorbonne in Paris. After several successful exhibitions in Europe and Florida, Strosberg relocated to New York in 2007.

Strosberg also holds a B.A. in Chemistry, has written and illustrated a childrenbook best-seller “In the dragon kingdom” explaining Darwinism to children and has recently been commissioned to paint a conceptual series on Women and Science (the influence of cosmetics and contraception) for the Prix Galien ceremony attended by Bill Clinton, Elie Wiesel, Ban Ki-Moon and 9 Nobel prizes at the Museum of Natural History in New York, on September 28th, 2010.
He is the son of Eliane Strosberg (author of “Art and Science” by Abbeville Press) and A.D. Strosberg, one of the 1995 discoverers of the gene responsible for obesity in man.
