FIAC 2005

Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles
6 t/m 10 oktober 2005

The 32nd FIAC will take place from October 6th to October 10th in halls 4 and 5.1 of the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles. Some 207 galleries, almost a quarter of them (47) new to FIAC, will exhibit. 26 countries will be represented by 113 foreign galleries and 99 from France.

FIAC 2005 will be marked by: the development of Perspectives (9 new galleries of which 7 are from outside France) and Future Quake (11 new galleries of which 8 are from outside France); the second edition of a high-level and extremely selective design section introduced in 2004 (10 galleries of which one is a first-time participant); a new section dedicated to film, video and new media.

FIAC 2005 will also present an intensified programme of on-site events (conferences and debates; an exhibition of the 4 candidates short-listed for the Marcel Duchamp Prize) accompanied by an impressive calendar of outside events organized in collaboration with Paris’ major cultural institutions, together with numerous private collectors, business people, corporate collections and galleries
