Often when occupied with something, he finds something else that is better or more relevant than what he searched for. This 'click', a moment of unexpected logic, offers an equal relief. Sometimes these discoveries are small and everyday (an aquarium fits exactly in a stove, two cans of beer exactly fill a box of Pringles) or related to a sculptural combination of objects (a battered wine rack seems to be made for a given pedestal). But mostly it is a conjunction within the framework of a photograph that shows an unknown natural quality. His work is not defined by a specific medium or material, but by a continuous need for moments of enlightenment. He knows these moments exist and he traces them through active awaiting. They are not connected to specific subjects and this allows him to choose a different setting each time.
In an earlier exhibition (The Beginning) he undertook a vain attempt to unravel The Universe. This time he adjusted his objective and compiled an exhibition under the working title The World is enough!
