īCut up and Visualized: Anatomy in Medicine and Visual Artī is an exhibition compiled by students from the UvA on the representation of anatomy in medicine and art. At the UvA a broad range of works and archival material will be presented around the history of anatomical practice and the relationship between art and anatomy. The exhibition at SPS focuses on the buildingīs history as the UvAīs former pathological anatomical laboratory (1933-1983). Photographs of the interior, of Hildo Kropīs sculptures and archival materials from after 1983 are displayed throughout the hallways of the building. The exhibition catalogue includes the studentsī research on the history of the building.
