People are always ‘Building the Future’; we are passionate inventors, usually driven by our craving for progress. We identify problems or situations we want to change, we try out something and do a little test to see if it works out. Often, a good idea is as simple as ABC - you just have to think of it, that’s all!
Helmut’s idea of progress produces progress in the shape of irrepressible enthusiasm: the kind of enthusiasm which energises the eureka experience. Things and their functions are no longer strictly defined; it is all about needs and possibilities. Tolerances are being stretched - of ownership, operating instructions and therefore good manners as well. That may be the most important contribution of the eureka experience Helmut produces: a stretching of our tolerance with respect to our material world. Maybe his ideas are not even products, but just services.
This exhibition transmits the energy of the eureka experience: it is a display of ideas and models for ideas. This exhibition shows a world of ideas and boosts the energy of creative potential and an open mind.
